Changjiang Li Autonomous County, directly administered Autonomous County of Hainan Province, is located in the urban group around Beibu Bay, in the west of Hainan Island, with a total area of 1617 square kilometers. It is adjacent to Baisha Li Autonomous County in the east, Ledong Li Autonomous County in the south, facing Dongfang City by Changhua River in the southwest, Beibu Bay in the northwest, and Danzhou City across Zhubi River in the northeast. It has a typical tropical monsoon climate, fertile land, sufficient light and moisture, and has jurisdiction over 7 towns and 1 township, with a permanent population of 234,100 in 2021.

Changjiang Li Autonomous County has a history of more than 2,100 years. There are not only the Qiantie Cave of human remains 20,000 years ago, the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage Li primitive pottery making skills, and the "living fossil of Li culture" boat house tribe in Hongshui Village of Wangxia Township, but also the Emperor Cave, Junling Wang Temple, Zhaodingyiguanzhong tomb, Changhua Ancient City, Zhiping Temple, Shuangxi Academy and other scenic spots and historic sites. There are also dragon boat racing, Changcheng Qiongju, Li folk songs, military folk songs, village songs and other local culture; Changhua, Haiwei, Xingang, Sha Yu Tang four fishing ports, the west line of the highway around the island straight to the entrance of Zizhi Bay tourist road; There are four parks, namely Zizhiwan National Marine Park, Bawangling National Forest Park, National Mine Park and Haiwei National Wetland Park. It is also a rare inland freshwater swamp wetland and coastal wetland that are well protected in the province. It is a pilot county of the National Intellectual Property Rights Strong County Project.

In 2021, the GDP of Changjiang Li Autonomous County reached 14.374 billion yuan, up 8.6 percent year on year.
