Foping County, affiliated to Hanzhong City of Shanxi Province, is located in the northeast of Hanzhong City, east of Ankang Ningshan County, Shiquan County, north of Xi 'an City Zhouzhi County, Taibai County of Baoji City, southwest of Yang County, an area of 1279 square kilometers.
