Gao County, belonging to Yibin City, Sichuan Province, is located in the south edge of Sichuan Basin, adjacent to Daquan County and Changning County to the east, contiguous to Yibin County to the west, Junlian County to the south, adjacent to Nanxi County to the north and Yanjin County to the southwest, Junlian County locates between 104°21 '-104 °48' east longitude and 28°11 '-28 °47' north latitude. The county is 61 kilometers long from north to south and 32 kilometers wide from east to west, with a total area of 1323 square kilometers. It has jurisdiction over 13 towns.
