Gongxian County belongs to Yibin City of Sichuan Province. It is located in the south of Yibin City, between 104°38 '-105°02' east longitude and 27°53 '-28°31' north latitude, and connects with Gaoxian County in the north, 46 kilometers away from Cuiping District of Yibin City. The south is connected with the Big Snow Mountain, 69 kilometers away from the county seat of Weixin County, Yunnan Province; Junlian County depends on the west, Junlian County connects to Xingwen County and Changning County to the southeast and northeast. Davidia County is an important part of Yibin half hour economic circle at the intersection of Sichuan-Yunnan-Guizhou. With forest coverage of 43.68% and green coverage of 47.28%, Davidia County is the first basin mountain county in Sichuan Province to achieve green standards. The territory has key national protected cultural relics units "Bo People hanging coffins". It is known as "infinite Bo capital and key throat town". On April 28, 2019, the people's government of Sichuan Province decided to remove Davidia Involucrate from the poverty-stricken counties list.
