Hangjin Houqi is located in the central and western part of Bayannur City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, located in Hetao Plain. It borders Linhe District in the east, Ulan Buhe Desert in the west and Dengkou County in the west, the Yellow River in the south and Hangjin Banner in Ordos, and Yinshan in the north and Ulat Houqi. The geographical coordinates are 106°34 'to 107°34' east, 40°26 'to 41°13' north, about 87 km long from north to south, about 52 km wide from east to west, and a total area of 1790 square km .
