Huaping County, subordinate to Lijiang City, Yunnan Province, is located on the north bank of the middle section of the Jinsha River in the northwest of Yunnan Province, between 26 ° 21 '- 26 ° 58' north latitude and 100 ° 59 '- 101 ° 31' east longitude. It is adjacent to Panzhihua City, Sichuan Province in the east, Chuxiong in central Yunnan in the south, and Lijiang in the west, and adjacent to Lugu Lake in Ninglang County in the north.
