Jiaocheng County is a county under the jurisdiction of Luliang City, Shanxi Province. It is located at the eastern foot of Luliang, in the middle of Shanxi Province, at the western edge of Jinzhong Basin, with Luliang in the north, Fenhe River in the south, Taiyuan in the east, and Fangshan Mountain and Lishi in the west. It is 51 kilometers away from the provincial capital Taiyuan, a suburban thoroughfare hotline, the east gate of Luliang, and a suburb county of the provincial capital Taiyuan. China's trunk highway 307 National Highway runs around the city, where Dayun Expressway and Xiafen Expressway converge, and the Taiyuan Zhongyin Railway passes through the city. Jiaocheng County has a long history and splendid culture. Jiaocheng Drum Script and Jiaocheng Lianhualuo have strong local characteristics. In November 2018, it was identified as one of the first innovative counties (cities) by the Ministry of Science and Technology. In May 2019, Jiaocheng County withdrew from poor counties.
