Jinping Miao, Yao and Dai Autonomous County (Jinping County) is an autonomous county under the Honghe Hani and Yi Autonomous Prefecture in Yunnan Province of the People's Republic of China, located in the south of Honghe Hani and Yi Autonomous Prefecture. It is adjacent to Lvchun County in the west, Yuanyang County in the north, Gejiu City and Mengzi City across the Red River, Hekou Yao Autonomous County across the Red River in the east, and Laojie Province and Laizhou Province in Vietnam in the south. The county seat is 7.5 kilometers away from the border. It has three border trading points, namely, Jinshui River National Class I Port, Shili Village Hot Water Pond, Ma'andi Northwest, and Jinshui River. The regional area is 3677 square kilometers. According to the data of the seventh population census, as of 0:00 on November 1, 2020, the permanent population of Jinping Miao, Yao and Dai Autonomous County was 331377.

On May 17, 2020, it officially withdrew from the poverty county sequence. On July 29, 2020, the National Health Council decided to name Jinping Miao, Yao and Dai Autonomous County as the national health county in the 2017-2019 cycle. In August 2021, it was selected as the national key county for rural revitalization.

In 2019, Jinping Miao, Yao and Dai Autonomous County achieved a GDP of 7.98 billion yuan, an increase of 9.5%; The added value of industries above designated size increased by 5.2%; Local general public budget revenue was 199 million yuan, up 2%; Local general public budget expenditure was 4.105 billion yuan, up 35.43%; Fixed asset investment above designated size increased by 6.8%; The total amount of border trade was 1.953 billion yuan; The total retail sales of consumer goods reached 3.572 billion yuan, up 11.3%; The per capita disposable income of urban and rural residents was 33373 yuan and 9547 yuan, up 8.6% and 11% respectively.
