Jinping Miao, Yao and Dai Autonomous County (Jinping County) is an autonomous county under the Honghe Hani and Yi Autonomous Prefecture in Yunnan Province of the People's Republic of China, located in the south of Honghe Hani and Yi Autonomous Prefecture. It is adjacent to Lvchun County in the west, Yuanyang County in the north, Gejiu City and Mengzi City across the Red River, Hekou Yao Autonomous County across the Red River in the east, and Laojie Province and Laizhou Province in Vietnam in the south. The county seat is 7.5 kilometers away from the border. It has three border trading points, namely, Jinshui River National Class I Port, Shili Village Hot Water Pond, Ma'andi Northwest, and Jinshui River. The regional area is 3677 square kilometers. According to the data of the seventh population census, as of 0:00 on November 1, 2020, the permanent population of Jinping Miao, Yao and Dai Autonomous County was 331377.
On May 17, 2020, it officially withdrew from the poverty county sequence. On July 29, 2020, the National Health Council decided to name Jinping Miao, Yao and Dai Autonomous County as the national health county in the 2017-2019 cycle. In August 2021, it was selected as the national key county for rural revitalization.
