Jiujiang County (Jiujiang County) generally refers to Chaisang District
Chaisang District, subordinate to Jiujiang City of Jiangxi Province, is located in the north of Jiangxi Province, on the south bank of the lower reaches of the middle reaches of the Yangtze River. It is adjacent to Lushan Mountain in the east, Lushan City and De 'an County in the south, Ruichang City in the west, Wuxue City, Huangmei County of Hubei Province and Susong County of Anhui Province in the north across the river, and Jiujiang City in the middle. The district is divided into east and west parts. Total area 873.33 square kilometers, under the jurisdiction of 3 streets, 5 towns, 4 townships, the district government in Shahe street. By the end of 2020, the resident population of Chaisang District was 312,800.

Chaisang District has convenient transportation, including Jiujiang Lushan Airport, Lushan Station, Jiujiang South Station, Jiujiang West Station, Shabei Marshalling Station, Beijing-Jiu Railway, Chang-Jiu Intercity Railway, Wu-jiu high-speed Railway, An-jiu high-speed Railway, Fu-Yin Expressway, Jiujiang Ring Expressway, Du-jiu Expressway, 105 National Highway, and 54 kilometers of Yangtze River Waterway to the north. Minshan Township in Chaisang District was the revolutionary base of northern Jiangxi during the Second Civil Revolutionary War. It was also the hometown of Tao Yuanming, a famous poet of the Eastern Jin Dynasty, and the second hometown of Yue Fei, a national hero.
In 2020, Chaisang District achieved a gross regional product of 17.753 billion yuan and a total fiscal revenue of 2.553 billion yuan.
