Lezhi County, subordinate to Ziyang City of Sichuan Province, is located in the middle of Sichuan Basin, on the watershed of Tuojiang River and Fujiang River, between latitude 30°0 '2 "-- 30°30' 4" north and longitude 104°45 '2 "-- 105°15' 2" east. It is adjacent to Anju District of Suining City in the east, Anyue County and Yanjiang District in the south, Jianyang City of Chengdu in the west, and Jintang County of Chengdu, Zhongjiang County of Deyang City and Daying County of Suining in the north. It is only 77 kilometers from the provincial capital Chengdu. According to the seventh census, as of midnight on November 1, 2020, the permanent population of Lezhi county was 490,573. With a total area of 1,425 square kilometers, it has jurisdiction over 1 township, 18 towns and 2 subdistricts in 2019.
