Liangping District (Liangping County) is under the jurisdiction of Chongqing Municipality, located in the northeast of Chongqing, with a total area of 1892 square kilometers. Liangping District is the hometown of famous pomelo and longevity bamboo in China. It has the largest natural bamboo sea in southwest China - the hundred-mile bamboo sea, Liangping pomelo, which is "one of the three famous pomelos in China", and Liangping sweet tea, which is known as "the treasure of tea". In October 2017, it was named the National Garden County by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development. Since ancient times, Liangping District has been an important land road for transportation from north to south, from east to west, and the land trunk lines such as Chongqing-Wanzhou High-speed Railway, Dazhou-Wanzhou Railway, Shanghai-Chengdu Expressway, Zhangnan Expressway, G318 National Highway, G243 National Highway, etc.
