Ningming County, under the jurisdiction of Chongzuo City of Guangxi, is located in the southwest border of Guangxi Province. It borders Lang Son County, Gaolu County, Tingli County and Ping Liao County of Quang Ninh Province. With a total area of 3,705 square kilometers, Ningming County has jurisdiction over 7 towns and 6 townships, 3 overseas Chinese farms, 162 administrative villages (communities) and 1086 natural villages. There are Aidian National first-class port and Aidian, Banlang and Beishan border trading points. The border is 212 kilometers long, which is the longest land border in Guangxi. According to the seventh census, the permanent population of Ningming County was 319,386 as of midnight on November 1, 2020.
