Purang County (English: Purang County) is in Ngari region of Tibet, China. It is located in the southwest of Tibet Autonomous Region, the south of Ngari Region, the south side of the Himalayas and the junction of China, India and Nepal. It is located between 80°27 "-82°30" east longitude and 30°00 "-31°13" north latitude.

Pulan County covers an area of 13,319 square kilometers. County people's government in the town of Pland Jilang community. Pulan County has jurisdiction over 1 town and 2 townships: Pulan Town, Baga Township, Hall Township. There are 10 administrative villages (communities). As of midnight on November 1, 2020, the permanent population of Pulan County was 12,242. On February 6, 2019, the People's Government of the Tibet Autonomous Region decided to withdraw Pulan County from poverty.
