Qianxi City, a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Bijie City in Guizhou Province, is located in the east of Wumeng Plateau, the middle reaches of Wujiang River and the north bank of Yechi River, between 105°47 '~106°26' east longitude and 26°45 '~ 27°21' north latitude. It is 68 kilometers away from the provincial capital Guiyang and 77 kilometers away from Qixingguan District, the seat of Bijie Municipal Government.
