Rong 'an County, located in the northern part of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is under the jurisdiction of Liuzhou City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region of the People's Republic of China. It is located between latitude 24°46 '~ 25°34' north and longitude 109°13 '~ 109°47' east. Its administrative area is 2,901.28 square kilometers. Rong 'an County is a subtropical monsoon climate zone. As of 2018, Rong 'an County has jurisdiction over 6 towns and 6 townships, with the county government based in Chang 'an Town. According to the seventh census, as of midnight on November 1, 2020, the permanent population of Rong 'an County was 253,360.

Southern Qi analysis Tanzhong County set Qixi County, Qixi County, the beginning of the county system. The southern Liang in Qixi County and set up Dongning State. In the eighteenth year of Emperor Kaihuang of Sui Dynasty (598), Dongning Prefecture was changed into Rongzhou, Qixi County was changed into Yixi County, which belonged to Shi 'an County, and Rongzhou was abolished at the beginning of Daye. On December 1, 2002, with the approval of The State Council, the administrative division of Liuzhou was adjusted, and Rongan County was placed under the jurisdiction of Liuzhou City.

The main tourist attractions in Rongan County are Daliangmenxian Lake scenic spot, Black Tea Ditch Forest Park scenic spot, sand Shiyan scenic spot. Agricultural and sideline products are Rong 'an Kumquat, Shatian pomelo, monk fruit, mushroom, first vegetable and so on. Chang 'an Town, the resident of the county, is the border center and commodity distribution center of Hunan, Guangxi and Guizhou provinces (districts). It is one of the "four famous towns" in modern Guangxi and known as "Xiaoliuzhou".
In 2020, the GDP of Rong 'an County reached 10.84 billion yuan, an increase of 3.2 percent over the previous year.
