Tiane County, under the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Hechi City, located in the northwest of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, the upper reaches of the Hongshui River. The county is about 77 kilometers long from east to west and 95 kilometers wide from north to south. The total area is 3196 square kilometers. Tian 'e County is the national and Guangxi forestry key county. In 2011, the forest area of the county reached 229,000 hectares, the forest coverage rate reached 82.6%, known as the "forest kingdom" and "green treasure house", wild plant and animal resources are diverse; Hongshui River flows 112 km through the county, water resources accounts for 45% of the total reserves in the Hongshui River basin. The county has jurisdiction over 2 towns and 7 townships, of which 1 is Yao nationality township, inhabited by Zhuang, Han, Yao, Dong, Miao, Maonan, Buyi, Mulam, Shui and other 20 ethnic groups. According to the seventh census data, as of midnight on November 1, 2020, the permanent population of Tian 'e County is 143,155 people.
In 2020, Tian 'e County achieved a gross regional product (GDP) of 6816.19 million yuan, an increase of 3.0 percent over the previous year based on comparable prices.

Tian 'e County has China's second largest hydropower station - Longtan hydropower station. There are also natural landscapes such as Julong Grand Canyon National Forest Park, Julong Grand Canyon, Dashan primitive forest and so on. It is also an old revolutionary base area. There are 3 memorial towers for martyrs in the county, and cultural landscapes such as Lahao Rock, Rhinoceros Spring, Bima Peak and Jiguan Mountain. Tiane County is rich in products such as aleuraea, golden flower tea, six picture pheasant, red water river fish, ganoderma lucidum, bamboo sun, pearl plum and so on. It is famous as "the hometown of Chinese pheasant", "the Hometown of Chinese Aleuria" and "the hometown of Chinese golden flower tea". On January 25, 2019, it was selected as the national "Safe Agricultural Machinery" demonstration County in 2018.

In March 2019, it was selected into the list of the first batch of counties under protection and utilization of revolutionary cultural relics. On April 24, 2019, the People's government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region approved Tian 'e County's poverty alleviation.
