Xincheng County, subordinate to Laibin City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is located in the center of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, the lower reaches of the Hongshui River, between 108°24 '-109 °7' east longitude, 23°40 '-24 °23' north latitude, with a total area of 2541 square kilometers. Xincheng County belongs to the South Asian tropical climate, abundant rainfall, moderate climate, county south-central region of summer, autumn and spring connected, long rainy season, short frost period, sufficient light, strong solar radiation. As of 2017, Xincheng County has jurisdiction over 6 towns and 6 townships, and the county government is located in Chengguan Town. On May 9, 2020, it was approved by the People's Government of Guangxi Autonomous Region to withdraw from the poverty-stricken county list.
