Xingguo County, subordinate to Ganzhou City of Jiangxi Province, is located in the south-central part of Jiangxi Province and the north of Ganzhou City. It borders Ningdu County in the east, Yudu County in the southeast, Ganxian County in the south, Wan 'an County in Ji 'an City in the west, Taihe County in Ji 'an City in the northwest, and Ji 'an Yongfeng County and Ji 'an County in the north. The county covers an area of 3215 square kilometers, with jurisdiction over 25 townships, 1 economic development zone, 303 administrative villages and 20 urban communities. By the end of 2021, the registered population of Xingguo County is 858,700, including 634,600 rural population and 224,100 urban population.

Xingguo County started from The Three Kingdoms, Wu Jiahe five years (236 years) set Pingyang County, the Northern Song Dynasty Taiping Xingguo seven years (982) with the year name "Taiping Xingguo" for the county name. Xingguo County has national Highway 319, National Highway 238, National Highway 356, Quannan Expressway, Xinggan Expressway, Beijing-Kowloon Railway, Xingquan Railway, Chang-gan high-speed railway, which has built a traffic pattern connecting south to north, connecting east to west, railway and sea combined transport, both passenger and cargo. Rich in fluorite, tungsten, coal, gold, rare earth, limestone and other 20 kinds of mineral resources.

In 2021, the GDP of Xingguo County reached 22.585 billion yuan, an increase of 8.3% at comparable prices; Total revenue reached 2.307 billion yuan, up 8.4% year on year.
