Yanchi County, under the jurisdiction of Wuzhong City of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, is located in the border zone of Shaanxi, Gansu, Ningxia and Mongolia provinces (regions). The central location is about 107°41' east longitude and 37°79' north latitude, with a total area of 8522.2 square kilometers. Yanchi County is a typical continental monsoon climate.
