Yanji, the county-level city and capital of Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture of Jilin Province, is located in the eastern part of Jilin Province, the middle part of Yanbian, the north foot of Changbai Mountains, and the hinterland of Northeast Asia economic circle.
