Yizhou county/District, affiliated to Hechi City of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is located in the north of central Guangxi, and is connected with Liucheng County, Liujiang District and Luocheng County in the east and northeast, adjacent to Xincheng County and Du 'an County in the south and southwest, bordering Jinchengjiang District in the west and Huanjiang County in the north, with a total area of 3857.09 square kilometers. It has jurisdiction over 9 towns and 7 townships.

Yizhou is the hometown of Liu Sanjie, the Song fairy of Zhuang nationality, as well as China's excellent tourist city, China's most distinctive tourist destination with folk culture, the birthplace of "National Cultural Advanced City" and "China's First villager Autonomous Village". In March 2015, China Gerontology Society awarded Yizhou the title of "China's Longevity Town".

By the end of 2021, Yizhou District has a permanent resident population of 550,100. In 2021, Yizhou District achieved a gross domestic product (GDP) of 14.534 billion yuan, of which the added value of the primary industry was 6.103 billion yuan, the secondary industry 2.363 billion yuan and the tertiary industry 6.068 billion yuan. According to the calculation of permanent resident population, the per capita GDP of Yizhou District in 2021 is 26,418 yuan.
