Yongfu County, which belongs to Guilin City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region of the People's Republic of China, is located in the northeast of Guangxi and southwest of Guilin, between 109°36 '50 "-- 110°14' 19" east longitude and 24°37 '48 "-- 25°36' 39" north latitude. The county has jurisdiction over 6 towns, 3 townships and 97 administrative villages. The county covers an area of 2806 square kilometers and is home to 18 ethnic groups such as Zhuang, Han, Yao, Miao, Jing and Hui. According to the seventh census, the permanent population of Yongfu County was 228,646 as of midnight on November 1, 2020.

Yongfu County is located in the subtropical monsoon climate zone, short winter and long summer, mild climate, abundant sunshine, abundant rainfall. Yongfu County is a typical karst landform with many hills and mountains. The mountains above 1100 meters are distributed in the west, northwest and southeast of the county. The southwest is 300-500 meters above sea level is the mountain woodland belt, valley plain and mountain flat throughout it. The northeast is the alluvial plain below 200 meters above sea level.

At the end of the 13th Five-Year Plan, the GDP of Yongfu County reached 8.297 billion yuan, with an average annual growth of 6.3%, and the investment in fixed assets reached 5.231 billion yuan, with an average annual growth of 15.4%.
On Jan 9, 2019, Yongfu County was selected into the list of "Towns of Chinese Folk Culture and Art" for 2018-2020 with its Caitone chariot. On December 6, 2019, it was selected as a pilot unit to promote the quality improvement of farmer cooperatives in the whole county. On January 22, 2010, it was named the national garden county by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development. China's top 100 clean water counties and cities in 2020.
