Quzhou, a prefecture level city under the jurisdiction of Zhejiang Province, is located in the Yangtze River Delta region, the west of Zhejiang Province, the upper reaches of Qiantang River, and the west end of Jinhua-Quzhou basin. Its geographical coordinates are located at 118°01 '-119 °20' east longitude and 28°14 '-29 °30' north latitude. The city covers an area of 8,844 square kilometers.
