Nanhe District (Nanhe County), formerly known as Heyang and Jiahe, is subordinate to Xingtai City, Hebei Province. It is located in the east of Xingtai City, in the hinterland of the North China Plain, with a total area of 405 square kilometers. Nanhe District has a temperate monsoon climate, characterized by significant continental monsoon and four distinct seasons. The District People's Government is located at No. 285 Heyang Street, Heyang Town. As of October 2021, Nanhe District has jurisdiction over 5 towns, 3 townships and 1 provincial economic development zone. According to the data of the seventh population census, as of November 1, 2020, the permanent population of Nanhe District is 350384.

Nanhe District, formerly Nanhe County, was first established in the Western Han Dynasty. After the Sui and Tang Dynasties, it was one of the nine counties in Xingzhou. In June 2020, with the approval of the State Council, Nanhe County was abolished and Nanhe District of Xingtai City was established. Nanhe District has a long history, known as "the hometown of Guanyin and the hometown of Song Jing". It is surrounded by Beijing Shenzhen, Beijing Shanghai, Xingheng and Xinglin expressways. The Beijing Guangzhou Railway, the Beijing Guangzhou High speed Railway and the Handan Huanghua Railway run through the east, west, north and south. There are Han Tombs, North Qi Statue Steles, Baique Temple and other places of interest in the territory.

In 2021, Nanhe District will achieve a GDP of 9.222 billion yuan and a total fiscal revenue of 956 million yuan.
