Gaobeidian City, subordinate to Baoding City, Hebei Province, is a county-level city entrusted by Baoding City. It is located in the middle of Hebei Province, in the north of Baoding City, between east longitude 115 ° 47 ′ 24 ″~116 ° 12 ′ 40 ″ and north latitude 39 ° 5 ′ 53 ″~39 ° 23 ′ 17 ″. The total area is 672 square kilometers. The Taihang Mountains flood alluvial plain is located in the west, and the river alluvial plain is located in the east. On April 9, 1993, with the approval of the State Council, Xincheng County was abolished and Gaobeidian City was established. On January 25, 2019, it was selected as a national "safe agricultural machinery" demonstration county in 2018. In November 2019, it was selected into the second batch of counties (districts) meeting the standard of water-saving society construction.
