Anxin County, a county under the jurisdiction of Baoding City, Hebei Province, is entrusted by Xiong'an New Area and located in the middle of Hebei Province. It is connected with Xiongxian County and Renqiu in the east, Gaoyang County in the south, Qingyuan District and Xushui District in Baoding City in the west, and Rongcheng County in the north. On December 23, 1994, Baoding District and Baoding City were merged into Baoding City, under which Anxin County was subordinate. On April 1, 2017, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council issued a notice, deciding to establish Hebei Xiong'an New Area, which is under the administration of Anxin County. In Anxin County, there are provincial highways Rongli Line and Baojing Line passing through, and Baiyangdian Lake, the largest freshwater lake in North China Plain.
