Boye County, a county under the jurisdiction of Baoding City, Hebei Province, is located in the middle of Hebei Province, east of the south of Baoding City, and north of Heilonggang Basin. It borders Li County in the east, Anguo in the west, Qingyuan District in the north and Anping County and Raoyang County in Hengshui City in the south, with a total area of 331 square kilometers. As of October 2019, Boye County has seven towns under its jurisdiction. The county people's government is located in Boye Town.

According to the data of the seventh census, as of 0:00 on November 1, 2020, the permanent population of Boye County is 225065.

In the first year of the Eastern Han Dynasty (146), he set up Boling County (located in today's Boye County), which belongs to Zhongshan State. In the first year of Northern Wei Jingming (500 years) of the Northern and Southern Dynasties, Bolu County was changed into Boye County. Li County was separated from Boye County in the eighth year of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty (1375). On January 15, 1962, Boye County was established. The whole area belongs to the mountain plain at the eastern foot of Taihang Mountains, a slightly inclined plain area of alluvial interlaced sedimentation, which is long and narrow from north to south, high in the west and low in the east in the middle north, and inclined from southwest to northeast in the south and southeast. It belongs to the warm temperate continental monsoon climate zone, with four distinct seasons. All rivers in the territory belong to the southern branch of the Daqing River in the Haihe River basin. Shuohuang Railway, Tianjin Shijiazhuang Expressway, Qugang Expressway, Dingzhou Hejian Highway and Baoheng Highway transit.

On September 29, 2018, the Hebei Provincial Government issued a notice officially approving Boye County to withdraw from the poverty county sequence.

In 2020, the county's local GDP will reach 5.6 billion yuan, the total fiscal revenue will reach 500 million yuan, and the per capita disposable income of rural residents will reach 15553 yuan.
