Leping, a county level city under the jurisdiction of Jingdezhen City in Jiangxi Province, is a planned city in Jiangxi Province. It is located in the northeast of Jiangxi Province, at the boundary of Poyang Lake Basin and North Jiangxi Hills, across the middle reaches of Le 'an River, between 116°53 '-- 117°32' east longitude and 28°42 '-- 29°13' north latitude. It covers an area of 1,980 square kilometers. Leping is a subtropical humid monsoon climate zone, with alternating warm and cold, warm and humid, abundant sunshine, long frost-free period, abundant rainfall, four distinct seasons. In 2019, Leping achieved a gross regional product (GDP) of 34.0 billion yuan, an increase of 7.8% over the previous year, and in 2021, its gross regional product (GDP) of 40.633 billion yuan, an increase of 8.5% over the previous year.
