Ganxian County (Ganxian County) generally refers to Ganxian County District.

Ganxian District, subordinate to Ganzhou City of Jiangxi Province, is located in the south of Jiangxi Province, the middle of Ganzhou City, the upper reaches of Ganjiang River, adjacent to Udu County and Anyuan County in the east, Xinfeng County in the south, Zhanggong District and Nankang District in the west, and Wan 'an County of Xingguo County and Ji 'an City in the north, with a total area of 2993.09 square kilometers, accounting for 7.6% of the total area of Ganzhou City and 1.8% of the total area of Jiangxi Province. It has jurisdiction over 12 towns and 7 townships.

Ganxian County is named "Ganxian County" because of "There are Gan Giants in the South" recorded in "The Classic of Mountains and Seas". The territory is shaped like a human ear, with beautiful scenery and pleasant scenery. It is known as "the cradle of Hakka", "the first County of Qianli Ganjiang River" and "the hometown of Chinese duck". In Ganxian County, there are cultural landscapes such as the ruins of Shang and Zhou Dynasties in Bailiguan Village, the tomb of Qi in Southern Dynasty, Qizhen Temple in Han Dynasty, Baohua Temple in Tang Dynasty, Chu King Temple in Jin Dynasty, Wenchang Pavilion, Hakka Cultural City, Bailu Ancient Village, and natural landscapes such as Sakura Splendid Park, Daxiaohuzhou and Daodaozhuang Danxia Landform.

By the end of 2020, the registered population of Ganxian District is 659,400. In 2020, Ganxian County achieved the regional GDP of 20.228 billion yuan, in which the added value of the primary industry was 2.405 billion yuan, the secondary industry was 6.221 billion yuan, and the tertiary industry was 11.1.602 billion yuan. The ratio of the tertiary industry structure was 11.9:30.8:57.3. Per capita GDP was 35,188 yuan.
