Dangyang City, a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Yichang City, is located in the central and western part of Hubei Province, bordering Jingmen City in the east, Jingzhou City and Zhijiang City in the south, Yiling District of Yichang City in the west, and Yuan 'an County in the north.
