Zhuozi County is located in the central part of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, 73 KMS in the west from Hohhot, the capital of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, 52 KMS in the east from Ulanqab, the capital city, and 430 KMS in the south from Beijing. Zhuozi County is adjacent to Hohhot and other 8 counties and cities. The county covers an area of 3119 square kilometers. Beijing-bao Railway and 110 National highway and Beijing-Hu Expressway pass through nine towns and townships, Kezuo highway and Jiliang highway run north-south. According to the seventh census, the permanent population of Zhuozi County was 85,648 as of midnight on November 1, 2020.
