Pujiang (Sichuan Province Chengdu City Xianxian) generally refers to Pujiang County
Pujiang County, located at the intersection of Chengdu, Meishan and Ya 'an cities, is adjacent to Dongpo District and Pengshan District of Meishan City in the east, Mingshan District of Ya 'an City in the west, Danlai County in the south and Qionglai City in the north. Adjacent to Tianfu New Area, it belongs to the "half hour economic circle" of Chengdu, and is the key road of "entering Tibet into Yunnan", with convenient transportation. Pujiang County has an administrative area of 583 square kilometers, with jurisdiction over 2 subdistricts and 6 towns. According to the seventh census, as of midnight on November 1, 2020, the permanent population of Pujiang County was 255,563.

Pujiang County was founded in 554 AD. It is the hometown of Wei Jiaweng, a neo-confucianist in Song Dynasty, and Li Jiayu, a famous anti-Japanese general. The forest coverage rate of Pujiang County is 50.8%, and the surface water meets the national Class III water standard.

On December 14, 2017, Pujiang County was awarded the 4th Sichuan Province Civilization Demonstration City. In November 2019, it was named as the "Four Good Rural Road" national demonstration county. In March 2020, Pujiang County was selected as the advanced county of Sichuan Province for implementing the Rural revitalization strategy in 2019.
In 2020, the GDP of Pujiang County reached 17.818 billion yuan, an increase of 3.9% year on year.
