Ebian Yi Autonomous County is subordinate to Leshan City, Sichuan Province. It is located in Xiaoliangshan District in southwest China, adjacent to Mount Emei, a sacred Buddhist place. Shaping Town is located between 103°15 'east longitude to 103°33' and 29°15 'north latitude. 56 kilometers wide east and west, 73 kilometers long north and south, the county area of 2382 square kilometers. Located in the transition zone between Sichuan Basin and Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau, it has a subtropical humid monsoon climate.
