Aba County, subordinate to the Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture of Sichuan Province, is located at the southeast edge of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, at the intersection of the three provinces of Sichuan, Gansu, Gansu and Qinghai.
