Aba County, subordinate to the Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture of Sichuan Province, is located at the southeast edge of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, at the intersection of the three provinces of Sichuan, Gansu, Gansu and Qinghai. It borders seven counties in the prefecture, including Ruoergai County, Hongyuan County, Malkang City, Zamtang County, and Maqu County, Gansu Province, Jiuzhi County, Qinghai Province, and Banma County. It is a county inhabited mainly by Tibetans. The tourism resources of Aba County include Shenzuo Scenic Spot, Lianbao Yeze Scenic Spot, Manzetang Wetland, Ronganke River Gorge and other natural landscapes.

In 2020, Aba County will achieve a GDP of 1.89 billion yuan, an increase of 3.5% on a year-on-year basis at comparable prices.
