Ganluo County, subordinate to Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture of Sichuan Province, is located in the southwest of Sichuan Province and the north of Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, bordering Ebian Yi Autonomous County and Jinkouhe District of Leshan City in the east, and Shimian County and Yuexi County of Ya'an City in the west. It faces Meigu County and Yuexi County in the south and Hanyuan County in Ya'an City in the north, with a total area of 2150 79 square kilometers. By 2021, Ganluo County has 9 towns and 4 townships under its jurisdiction. The total population is 237600, including 14 ethnic groups including Yi, Han, Tibetan, Miao and Manchu.

Ganluo County is a national key ecological functional area, a sub-county of the revolutionary cultural relics protection and utilization area, and an advanced county in the ideological and moral construction of minors in Sichuan Province. On February 18, 2020, the Sichuan Provincial People's Government approved Ganluo County to withdraw from the poverty county sequence.

In 2020, the gross regional product of Ganluo County was 4.185 billion yuan, an increase of 6.6% over the same period in 2019. Among them, the added value of the primary industry was 858 million yuan, up 4.9%. The added value of the secondary industry is 1.37 billion yuan, and the added value of the tertiary industry is 1.958 billion yuan.
