Libo County, which belongs to Qiannan Buyi and Miao Autonomous Prefecture of Guizhou Province, is located in the southernmost part of Guizhou Province, the transition zone from Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau to Guangxi Hills, adjacent to Huanjiang Maonan Autonomous County and Nandan County of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in the southeast, with a total area of 2,431.8 square kilometers.
