Luliang County

Luliang County, subordinate to Qujing, Yunnan Province, is located in the east of Yunnan Province and is known as the "Pearl of East Yunnan". It is located in the upper reaches of Nanpan River, between 24 ° 44 ′ - 25 ° 18 ′ N and 103 ° 23 ′ - 104 ° 02 ′ E. It borders Malong District and Qilin District in the north, Luoping County in the east, Shizong County and Shilin County in the south, and Yiliang County in the west. The total area of the county is 1989.47 square kilometers, and the dam area is 771.99 square kilometers, accounting for 38.8% of the total area. It is the largest plateau flat dam in Yunnan Province, with the maximum longitudinal distance of 65.6 kilometers from east to west and 62.8 kilometers from north to south. On January 9, 2019, Luliang County was included in the list of "Hometown of Chinese Folk Culture and Art" from 2018 to 2020 by virtue of calligraphy.
