Zhashui County, subordinate to Shangluo City of Shanxi Province, is located in the northwest of Shangluo City, bordering on Shangzhou District and Shanyang County in the east, Zhen 'an County in the south, Ningshan County in the west, and Xi 'an Chang 'an District and Lantian County in the north, with an area of 2332 square kilometers. As of October 2022, Zhashui County has jurisdiction over 1 subdistrict and 8 towns. By the end of 2021, Zhashui County has a permanent resident population of 136,800.
Zhashui County was named after ancient Zhashui. Xia belongs to Yongzhou. Spring and Autumn period, belong to Chu. Qing Emperor Qianlong forty-eight years (1783), set up Xiaoyi Hall, Shanxi Province, Xi 'an County, the road under the jurisdiction of the road.
