Nangqian County

Nangqian County belongs to Yushu Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Qinghai Province, located at 95°21 '58 "~97°07' 0" east longitude, 31°32 '20 "~32°43' 46" north latitude. It is adjacent to Haixi Mongolian and Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in the north, Guoluo Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in the east, Garze Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in Sichuan Province in the southeast, and Qamdo City in the Tibet Autonomous Region in the south. It is 157.5 kilometers long from east to west and 130.5 kilometers wide from north to south. It covers an area of 12,700 square kilometers. Nangqian County has gold, silver, copper, iron, lead, zinc, tin, gypsum, sulfur, limestone, coal, salt and other mineral resources. As of midnight on November 1, 2020, the permanent population of Nangqian County is 90,307 people.

In 2020, the GDP of Nangqian County reached 865 million yuan, with a year-on-year growth of 0.1%; The total investment in fixed assets reached 955 million yuan, up 3.24% year on year; General budget revenue of local governments reached 40.67 million yuan, an increase of 22.2% over the figure at the beginning of the year.
