Tashkurgan Tajik Autonomous County, belonging to the Kashgar region of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is located in the southwest of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. It is connected to Tajikistan, Afghanistan and Pakistan in the northwest, southwest and south respectively. It is connected to Yecheng County and Shache County in the southeast and east, and connected to Aktau County in the north.
