Qinzhou, a prefecture-level city in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. It is located in the south coast of Guangxi and the north coast of Beibu Gulf. It is located in east longitude 107°27 '-- 109°56' and north latitude 21°35 '-- 22°41'. It is connected to Beihai City and Yulin City in the east, Qinzhou Bay in the south, Fangchenggang City in the west and Nanning City in the north. The total land area of the city is 10897 square kilometers, and the mainland coastline is 562.64 kilometers. According to the seventh census, as of midnight on November 1, 2020, the permanent population of Qinzhou was 3,302,238.
Qinzhou City was formerly the Qinlian District, Qinzhou District, Qinzhou County, Zhanjiang District, Qinzhou County, and Qinzhou County, Guangxi Province, which governed the four subdivisions of Qinlian in Guangdong Province (Qinzhou, Hepu, Fangcheng, Lingshan). Qinzhou City is one of the important thriving and inheriting places of Lingnan Culture and Guangfu Culture, where the Qinlian people lived.
