Abagar Banner is a banner under the jurisdiction of Xilin Gol League of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. It is located in the central and northern part of Xilin Gol League of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. It has 175 kilometers of border with Mongolia in the north, adjacent to Xilin Hot City and Wuzhu Muqin Banner in the east, Sunit Left Banner in the west and Zhenglan Banner in the south. The total land area is 27,500 square kilometers. According to the 7th Census data, the permanent population of Abagar Banner was 38,589 as of 0:00 on November 1, 2020. As of 31 October 2021, Abagar Banner has jurisdiction over 3 towns, 4 Sumu and 1 township unit.

Abagar Banner is an ancient tribal evolution, "Abagar" is Mongolian, Chinese "uncle". Because the tribal leader is the descendant of the half-brother Beligutai of Genghis Khan, the emperor Taizu of the Yuan Dynasty, the tribe led by him is called "Abagar" and has been used to this day.

Abaga Banner tourist attractions include Uriyastai, Yandu Temple, Huerchagannur, Mingtoub Mountain "sky through the stone road", historic sites include "Jinjie Hao" site, Turkic stone man tombstone, Sui and Tang dynasties ancient tomb cluster. On July 27, 2018, the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region people's Government approved the withdrawal of the poverty flag.
