Anqiu is a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Shandong Province and a county directly under the administration of finance in Shandong Province. It is administered by Weifang City and located in the middle of Shandong Peninsula. It is one of the first coastal counties approved by The State Council to open to the outside world. It is located between 118°44 'and 119°27' east longitude and 36°05 'and 36°38' north latitude. The total area of the city is 1712 square kilometers.
