Baicheng County, subordinate to Aksu, Xinjiang, is located in the intermountain basin at the southern foot of the middle section of Tianshan Mountains, the northern edge of Chaltag Mountains, and the upper reaches of the Weigan River. It is connected with Zhaosu and Tex counties on the north side of Tianshan Mountain, bounded by Xinhe County on the south side of Chaltag Mountain, adjacent to Kuqa County on the east side and Wensu County on the west side. The administrative area is 19100 square kilometers. By the end of 2019, the registered residence population of Baicheng County was 238892. The county people's government is located in Baicheng Town, 860 kilometers away from Urumqi. Baicheng County is high in the north and low in the south, tilting from northwest to southeast, with an altitude of 1200 meters.

On October 22, 2018, Baicheng County was included in the list of pilot areas for the integrated development of the national rural primary, secondary and tertiary industries in 2018. On January 25, 2019, it was selected as the national "safe agricultural machinery" demonstration county in 2018. On July 29, 2020, it was included in the naming list of national health towns (counties) in the 2017-2019 cycle.

In 2019, the regional GDP of Baicheng County was 8054 million yuan, the added value of the primary industry was 143 million yuan, the added value of the secondary industry was 3976 million yuan, the general public budget revenue was 1614 million yuan, and the general public budget expenditure was 3853 million yuan.
