Changshun County belongs to Qiannan Buyi and Miao Autonomous Prefecture of Guizhou Province, People's Republic of China. The county government is based in Changzhai Town, which is located in the south-central part of Guizhou Province and the west of Qiannan Prefecture. Changshun County covers an area of 1543 square kilometers. The county is 84 kilometers away from the provincial capital Guiyang City, 178 kilometers to the state capital Duyun City, 85 kilometers to Anshun City. Jurisdiction over 5 towns, 1 township, 1 street. According to the seventh census, Changshun County had 201,540 permanent residents as of midnight on November 1, 2020. The county has apricot King Mountain, Baiyun Mountain, azalea lake and other scenic spots.

The mountains in Changshun County belong to the Miaoling mountain system, and the Miaoling watershed runs in the north of the county. The terrain is high in the north and low in the south.
