Changxing County, which belongs to Huzhou City, Zhejiang Province, is located in the northern part of Zhejiang Province, the Hangjiahu Plain of the Yangtze River Delta, the southwest bank of Taihu Lake, the border of Zhejiang, Anhui and Jiangsu provinces, and borders Anji County and Wuxing District of Huzhou City, Guangde City of Xuancheng City, Anhui Province and Yixing City of Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province. It is between 30°43 '-- 31°11' north latitude and 119°33 '-- 120°06' east longitude. Changxing was called the Great Wall in ancient times. In the Spring and Autumn period (514 B.C. -- 495 B.C.), King Helu of Wu sent his younger brother to build a city two miles southeast of today's Pheasant City.
