Dangtu County is affiliated to Ma 'anshan City, Anhui Province. It is located in the east of Anhui Province and the south bank of the lower reaches of the Yangtze River. Dangtu is a city of cultural heritage for thousands of years. With a history of more than 2200 years, it was set up as Danyang County in Qin Dynasty and named Dangtu in the ninth year of Kai Huang in Sui Dynasty (589). The county was once the seat of the Taiping Prefecture in the Song Dynasty, the Taiping Prefecture in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, the Yangtze River Water Division in the Qing Dynasty, and the Anhui Academic Administration. It has the ancient Golden column Tower, Huangshan Tower, Lingyun Tower and the preserved ancient moat. Zhou Xingsi, a brilliant scholar in the Southern Dynasty, wrote the Thousandcharacter Text, a classic of Chinese private learning, overnight. Li Bai, the immortal poet, traveled to Dangtu seven times and wrote 56 immortal poems such as "Looking at Tianmen Mountain". In his old age, he settled down in Dangtu and died in the green Mountains. Li Zhiyi, a famous poet in the Northern Song Dynasty, wrote, "I live at the end of the Yangtze River, you live at the end of the Yangtze River; "Day by day, you do not see the king, drink the Yangtze River water together" this classic poem has been sung for thousands of years.
