Dazi County (Lhasa City, Tibet) generally refers to Dazi District
Dazi District, under the jurisdiction of Lhasa City of Tibet Autonomous Region, is located in the south-central part of Tibet Autonomous Region, southeast of Nianqing Tanggula Mountain, northeast of Lhasa City, and downstream of Lhasa River, a tributary of the middle reaches of Yarlung Zangbo River. The total area is 1373 square kilometers. As of October 2022, Dazi District has jurisdiction over 1 town and 5 townships. According to the seventh census, the permanent population of Dazi District was 32,318 as of midnight on November 1, 2020.

Dazi means "tiger peak" in Tibetan. Yuan Dynasty, set Dazi Zong. In 2017, Dazi County was abolished and Dazi District of Lhasa was established.
In 2018, the GDP of Dazi District reached 1.844 billion yuan, an increase of 9.8 percent over 2017. The added value of the primary industry is 182 million yuan, the secondary industry is 1.096 billion yuan, and the tertiary industry is 566 million yuan. The ratio of the tertiary industry structure is 0.1:0.6:0.3.
