Duilong Deqing District is under the jurisdiction of Lhasa City, Tibet Autonomous Region of the People's Republic of China, located in the south of the central Tibet Autonomous Region, the west of Lhasa, with a total area of 2704.25 square kilometers, jurisdiction over 2 streets, 4 towns, 1 township, district people's government in Tongga Town Tuanjie Road No. 1. According to the seventh census, the permanent population of Duilong Deqing District was 91,065 as of midnight on November 1, 2020.

Duilong Deqing means "Land of Upper Valley bliss" in Tibetan. The district is located in the middle reaches of the Yarlung Zangbo River valley, the southern foot of Nianqing Tanggula Mountain, with an average elevation of about 4500 meters, and the terrain is high in the northwest and low in the southeast. Lhasa River, Duilong River flows through the territory. Solar energy, water energy, geothermal resources are abundant. The tourist attractions are Chubu Temple, Sangmu folk Village, Qiusang Hot spring and so on. Gurong Zanba is a special product of Deqing.

Agriculture and animal husbandry as the economic foundation of DulongDeqing. In the 21st century, especially after the opening of the Qinghai-Tibet Railway, manufacturing and commercial circulation have become the leading industries in Duilong and Deqing. Lhasa National Economic and Technological Development Zone and Liuwu New Area are located within the territory, connecting with the main urban area of Lhasa. In 2019, the GDP of Duilong Deqing reached 5.516 billion yuan, the general public budget revenue was 1.203 billion yuan, and the per capita disposable income of farmers and herdsmen was 17,531 yuan.
