Ewenki Autonomous Banner is affiliated to Hulunbuir City of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, located in the northeast of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, west of the Greater Khingan Mountains, southeast of Hulunbuir grassland. In addition to the eastern part of the north, the climate is a temperate continental climate, the average annual temperature between minus 2.4℃~ 2.2℃. With Ewenki as the main body, the autonomous Banner is composed of more than 20 ethnic groups, including Mongolian, Han and Daur, with a total land area of 19,111 square kilometers. It has jurisdiction over 4 towns, 1 township and 5 sumu; All the villages and towns in the Qimu area had jurisdiction over 44 gacha. According to the seventh census, as of midnight on November 1, 2020, the permanent population of Ewenki Autonomous Banner was 141,102.

In July 2019, it was selected as the pilot county (district) of the National Intellectual Property Strong County Project.

In 2020, the GDP of Ewenki Autonomous Banner reached 110.6256 million yuan, down 1.9 percent year-on-year at comparable prices.
